- Anne N. Gerrity, 75, of Silver Creek died Friday (March 11, 2011) at the Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo. She was born April 17, 1935 in Silver Creek, the daughter of the late Dominick and Grace (Borrello) Sack. Anne was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Silver Creek. She was an avid collector of porcelain and antique dolls. A former den mother for the cub scouts, she enjoyed home decorating. In addition, she loved being a grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 46 years William J. Gerrity; daughter Grace E. M. Gerrity (Garry Hemphill) of Forestville, NY; sons William J. (Donna) of Long Island, NY. and Patrick M. Gerrity of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Anthony (Marie) Sack of Silver Creek, NY, John (Virge) Sack of Silver Creek and Salvatore Sack of Dunkirk; a sister, Neline (Charles) Rizzo of North Collins, NY; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Sack of Farnham and Sandra Sack of Silver Creek; her aunt, Mildred Sunzeri of Silver Creek and a grandson, Garrison G. Hemphill. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a twin brother, Patsy Sack, and a brother, Dominic Sack. Prayers will be held Monday March 14, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. from the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel in Silver Creek, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Silver Creek. The family will be present at the Funeral Chapel from 4-9 p.m. on Sunday March 13, 2011.
