    • Nancy Jane Helms, age 99, passed away on February 17, 2026, in Media, PA, with her beloved family by her side. Raised in Lansdowne, PA, Nancy was a graduate of Lansdowne High School, and spent the majority of her life in Swarthmore, PA. Nancy will be remembered fondly for her love and devotion to her family.

      She proudly took on the job of stay-at-home mom to nurture and care for her children, carrying that same love and compassion over to her roles as Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great-Great Grandmother. Whether it was cheering at swim meets, watching dance recitals, or attending little league baseball, Nancy was always happy to support and love her family in any way she could. When Nancy sought time to herself she could often be found watching TV or at Ridley Park Lake, walking, reading, or listening to music with a coffee in-hand.

      Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Katherine Johnson; husband, Robert Helms; son and daughter, Craig Stephens and Cindy Maher (the late Len Maher); and sisters, Patsy Statham (the late Smith Statham) and Molly Arrington.

      Survivors: Her Children: Lori Barrow (Bret), Dana Helms, and Brian Huss (Nancy). Daughter-in-Law: Frani Stephens, Grandchildren: Andrea, Justin, Mark, Lenny, Christie, Lauren, Melissa, Kaitlyn, and Adam. Great Grandchildren: John, Michael, Lyla, Emma, Owen, Cassidy, Emmy, Maisie, and Caden. Great-Great Grandchildren: Chase and Chloe.
