- Mary Ann Piscitelli “Miss P” was a loving, generous, and stubborn human being. She was born in Bradford, PA. to Josephine Leone Piscitelli and Frank Piscitelli on July 13, 1948 and died on July 26, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Mary graduated from Bradford Central Christian High School and Villa Maria College. She was a proud teacher and taught in the Erie School District from 1972-2004. She served her community by facilitating grants and projects to help students and schools. She laughed and loved and cared so much. She was many things to many people. She was a beloved daughter, niece, sister, cousin, aunt family friend and teacher.
A helper to all she knew. A rememberer of occasions big and small. A valued member of book clubs, an infuriatingly unbeatable Scrabble player. A listener of books on tape and a fan of good beach reads. A collector of bears, angels, gift cards, and reusable shopping bags, and a baker of countless treats. And enjoyed a glass of wine or a cocktail and a good meal and conversation. Presque Isle, Florida beach and sunshine. A planner of family reunions and researcher of genealogy
Mary was preceded in death by her partner, Paul D. Phillips. Survivors include two brothers; Humbert Piscitelli (Carol Luke) of Granite City, NC., James Piscitelli (Sue Heenan) of N. Olmstead, OH., and one sister Lynn Keltz (Keith) of Lewis Run, PA., five nephews and nieces, Scott, Stefni, Matthew, Angelia Piscitelli and Justine Keltz. Many great nieces and nephews also survive.
