    • FIELDS Morris G. "Pappy" Fields entered eternal rest on Friday, September 28, 2007. He was 72 years of age. Devoted husband of Betty Jean Hebert Fields for 47 years. Loving father of James M. Fields, Timothy R. Fields, Jody F. Castle, and Jeffrey T. Fields. Grandfather of Dylan, Bradley and Brittany Fields and Kelsey and Cody Castle. Son of the late Maurice Fields and Margaret Cardno Fields Messina. Brother of John E. Fields and Louis B. Messina. Father-in-law of Dayna Wilkinson Fields and Scott Castle. Morris proudly served in the United States Navy for 8 years. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and also lived in Metairie, LA for 35 years and for the past 9 years having lived in LaCombe, LA. A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 5, 2007 at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home starting at 10:00 AM and lasting until the Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Hope Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL, 60601 or 1-800-272-3900.
