    • Charles Herbert Conner, 85, died this morning at Embreeville after an illness of several years. He had been confined to his bed for the past two weeks.

      He was a native of Orangeville and resided in that community and in Bloomsburg practically his entire life. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

      Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. William Siebert, of Bernardsville, N. J.; Mrs. W. C. Hensyl, of town; and Mrs. Clark Johnson, of Upper Darby. Also suryiving are 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

      Funeral services will be held from the Kelchner Funeral Home here at two o'clock Friday after-noon, with Rev. Gladstone P. Cooley, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be made in the family plot, Orangeville cemetery. There will be no viewing.
