- From the Philadelphia Inquirer, 12 Mar 1968, page 17: MISS LILLIAN LEE BIDDLE, a former resident of Philadelphia, widely known for her dramatic monologues which she conducted for charity, died Sunday in the Colonial Nursing Home in Warren, Rhode Island. She was 76. Miss Biddle is survived by two brothers, Brig. Den. Nicholas Biddle and Winthrop Lee Biddle.
