- Rita Bacon Ravior, 83, of Bridgeton, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Bridgeton, NJ, Rita was a longtime resident of Bridgeton, and had previously lived in Vineland for 25 years. She was a graduate of Bridgeton High School, Class of 1948. Rita loved Elvis Presley and went to Graceland multiple times.
She was predeceased by her parents Delbert and Susan (Creamer) Bacon, husband, George Ravior, son, Robert Ravior, four sisters, Alice Griner, Mildred Howell, Hilda White, and Mary Green, and a brother Richard Bacon. Rita is survived by two sons, Glenn and wife Linda (Bassano) Ravior of Minotola, and Steven Ravior and his companion Gina Cogdill of Vineland, four grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsey, Christopher, and Megan, two great grandchildren, her best friend, Pat Zucal of Richland, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Rita will be laid to rest at Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the funeral home.
