    • Michael Sylvester, 66, of 551 Jackson Ave., died at 7:10 p.m. Friday in Bradford Hospital after a lingering illness.

      Mr. Sylvester was born in Bradford, the son of Salvatore and Felicia Sylvester, and attended the local schools. In 1934 he married the former Virginia Piscitelli in St. Bernard Church.

      He had been an employe of Bovaird & Seyfang Manufacturing Co. until 1950 when the foundry was closed. He then became employed by the Dresser Manufacturing Division until 1960 and was recently employed by Miles-Bradford Co.

      Mr. Sylvester was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, LaStella Lodge and Loyal Order of the Moose.

      Surviving, in addition to his wife is one son, Samuel, of Arlington, Va.; two daughters, Phyllis of Arlington and Kathleen at home; a niece and a nephew.

      Friends may call at the Galati Funeral Home beginning at 3 p.m. today. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later.
