Her maiden name was Haver(sic) and she was born in Pennsylvania. She married Chas. Leister in 1823 and in 1843 they came to Wisconsin, taking up land in the town of Granville. The husband died in 1873. The surviving sons and daughters are Mrs. Barndt and Silas Leister of Menomonee Falls, Tobias Leister of Granville and Mrs. Adam Badinger of this city. Funeral services were held at the Evangelical church at the Falls, Rev. H. J. Droegkamp officiating.
