      Funeral services for Calvin E. Leister, 79, were held Wednesday, July 21 at 1:30 p.m. under the auspices of Lincoln Lodge N. 183, F. and A. M. at the A. A. Schmidt & sons Funeral Home, Menomonee Falls, with interment at the West Granville cemetery. He died Sunday, July 18 at the Avon Manor Nursing Home, Mill rd., where he had been a patient since Jan. 5th. Leister, the son of the late Aaron and Catherine Schlafer Leister was born July 16, 1881(sic) in the town of Granville. He and his brother Eugene operated a milk route in the days of horse-drawn vehicles and later with trucks. In the early 1930's they sold their route to Becker and Umhoefer. He was employed at the Granville Lumber Yard for many years. His wife, the former Madeline Hennas, preceded him in death. All their married life they resided in Menomonee Falls. He was the brother of Mrs. Mary Miller of Menomonee Falls, Frank of Washingtonville, Ohio, Florence Leister of Milwaukee, and Eugene of Brookfield. Other survivors include nieces, nephews and other relatives.
